LOCAL ROBOTICS TEAM MAKES NATIONALS

Imagine being an elementary school student here in Milton, DE and being presented with the opportunity to compete in a national competition in Dallas, TX, because of something you built with your own two hands! What may seem like a dream for many, has become a reality for three local students.
For years now, H.O. Brittingham (in Milton, DE) has offered students the chance to bring theories and lessons learned in the classroom to life through their after-school robotics club. In a world where STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) careers abound, these students are given a head start by learning how to design, engineer, operate, and solve problems with his/her robots, at a young age.
Each school year the robotics club is split into smaller teams and given the chance to compete at the local and regional levels. This year, one of H.O.B.’s teams has qualified to compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship presented by the REC Foundation.
While this is an exciting opportunity, the travel expenses are not insignificant, and this club exists without a district-allocated budget. So, when given the chance to sponsor the team, we jumped at the opportunity. Building a stronger Delmarva, together!

Summer 2025
Cleanups each quarter of the year. While we would love to invite our community to be part of this, due to safety restrictions, this event is limited to the team at Pro Exteriors.

Habitat For Humanity Roof Installations
2025
This is an on-going partnership with the Sussex County Habitat For Humanity. We will have the honor of installing roofs for a number of deserving residents in Laurel, DE this year. Stay tuned for how you might be able to get involved.

Roofing Installs | Sussex County Habitat For Humanity
Thanks in part to our partners at GAF, we've completed 7 roofs in 2024 for deserving families in Seaford, DE.
On March 1, 2024 we had the privilege of kicking off the renovation of the canteen at Delmarva Christian Service Camp in Laurel, DE. It is our hope that the renovations will allow campers to find refreshment during their time at camp for years and years to come.
